Saskatchewan Water Security Agency - Qualified Persons Course

This course offers the introductory concepts that are important to ensure Qualified Persons (QP) have the appropriate skills and knowledge necessary to assist in the continued growth and resiliency of the agricultural sector. During the Intro QP Training course, attendees will learn about Water Security Agency’s Agricultural Water Management Strategy, the role, and functions of a QP and the drainage approval process. This course also teaches how to prepare the plans, how to fill in the drainage application, and a bit about climate change and how drainage works need to be designed to be resilient to climate change.
